Bangkok is full of free magazine. I should know.
One that stands out though is Digital Lifestyle, a bi-monthly free magazine about technology and gadgets by GM, a publishing powerhouse responsible for some of Thailand’s most prominent magazines.
Ironically though, for a website that claims to give you the best and latest updates in technology, it doesn’t seem to know what RSS is and the main focus of the website seems to be the “community”. No, it’s nowhere near GDGT. Don’t think too far into the social networking realm. They’re doing it the Thai way here—forums.
Till this day I still don’t understand how Pantip.com became so popular. How does one find anything useful when everything is lodged between thousand of forum links, with absolutely no workable search or browse function and the only way to get the latest is to keep pressing the F5 button. How 1999.
